Dear Friends,
Lately
there has been little information through emails to my email: kertesz11@yahoo.com,
so I have taken up a hunting trip for news.
From
what you have seen, I use photos taken from Facebook, these have the letter FB
in the coding of the photo.
Also I
am using the cellular network to take down the exchanges that are pertinent to
this circular.
I hope
that this effort will help to keep the Mount family together.

HI, guys,
I was up in Mount since 1967 to 74 the same time as the
Coscarart, the Garners, Thomas Pegus, Rudy Polderman, Thimothy Heally, W.
Ramlogant (of former SCALET IBIS HOTEL IN TUNAPUNA), Johnny Garcia, Skippy,
Jimmy Samaroo, Wayne Chang, Danny Isse, Garth Alexander, and others.
If Salvador remembers we did a lot of swimming for the Abbey Aqua
Lads, I remember swimming against some swimming clubs here in Venezuela.
I have lots of photos of those wonderful days up in Abbey,
I’ll do my best to have them sent to you.
Do you guys remember Nurse Kelly, Mr. Marck, Mr. Julian, Basanta,
Lord Short Pants (Mcintoch)?. What about B. Lange Alias Rosita, and Br. Rupy?
I married 10 years ago, got two kids, one of 7 and one of 9 they
are doing very well at school, and she is expecting another one in February
coming, shit never too old for this business.
Right now I am working for the oil industry PDVSA in Engineering
and Construction Department at Campo Morichal.

Hi Ladislao,
Thank you for keeping me on your mailing list despite having
never responded to your circulars.
Your efforts over the years must be lauded and I'm sure many
“mount boys" are grateful for your work.
Now that I have some time ("in between jobs" as they
say) I can fill you in on a few personal facts.
After leaving the Abbey School in 1964 (and experiencing 6 1/2
enjoyable years on the hill) I attended university in Canada.
I graduated in 1968 in Social Sciences, and then went to the
Mexico Olympic Games (as a spectator and an unforgettable 2 weeks) before
coming home to start in the advertising world.
Since then I have spent 20 years in advertising and about 12 in
the oil field /industrial sector. - a variety of experience but none of a
specialist or high income nature.
Right now I am examining 3 or 4 projects (one is a 'party ' boat
charter in Chaguaramas) and see myself working for some time to come- unlike
some mount contemporaries who retired years ago and seem to be living the
good life.
Thank God I still feel relatively young and healthy enough to
play football, tennis and some golf.
I married Rosemary de Verteuil (sister of Paul and Raymond and a
regular visitor to the mount in her teenage years) in 1977 and we have 2
daughters.
In their 20's who have both done well academically.
We live in a town house near the sea in Westmoorings which is
also home to Anthony Hart, Jeff Gransaull, Jean de Meillac, Gerald Kenny, 4
Herreras and my 2 brothers, Roger and Hugh. I won't bore you with any more
details at this stage and will stop here to attend to the mechanic fixing my
car.
Do car repairs ever stop?
Regards
Stuart Henderson
(cush).
N.B. I have quite a
few 1960s photos and can pass them on to Gerald Kenny for scanning
/forwarding-if you want.

Dear Ladislao,
Yes, there was another scout troop 3rd Mount St. Benedict.
They were "Air Scouts" and the founder was the late Fr.
Leo.
Later they were amalgamated with 2nd Mount St. Benedict.
I shall call Maillard Howell tomorrow and give him the web site.
I shall also call Imbert and Assam and let them know how to get
onto the site.
I shall give details of the badges then required to become a
Queen's Scout in those days soon, suffice it to say we had to earn a lot.
In my time there were the Hendersons, Xaviers, Cedenos, Galts,
Pampallones, Huttons, the Ames brothers, Marfisi, Prada, Day, Boddington,
Sanchez to name a few.
Sincerely,
Anthony

A melancholy bike trip to our school....if
we were to take it today....lots has changed since my last visit in 1968
Sir George Mickiewicz - Tears of Joy, thank you so much, its
been so long, I just cried man, you hit meh hard with this one, I was not
expecting it. A big thanks to the bike rider ?
It is
emotional indeed...wish that he had stopped along way and taken shots of the
pool, field, seminary, guest house, ridden around the school and the
refractory, etc......noticed that the basketball hoop is still up....I spent
hours and hours shooting baskets and playing in games
I
thought he was going to white stones, jejejejejejej.
I
enjoyed this video.it
was nervous feeling for the way he was riding. jejejejej am more cautions now a
days as i=still ride my bike a triumph Bonneville America easy rider. jejejejej
Thank
you George for sharing.
thank
you much for sharing
Joseph Habib I remember the time the pine trees
were planted. We were on a hike after school and some people were up there
planting these little trees all over the place. That steel tower was not ever
there. Last time I was up there was in 1979-80. That place has changed a lot.
Love it.
Conrad Boney So true guys a lot have changed but
still the mount. Visit any time.

01-03-2017 Lots of trinidadians was in

01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: Message too short
Neil. I didn't hear anything. Don't come between July 7 and August 21st. We'll
be in Toronto.
01-03-2017 Will be in October going to Cuba
next month
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: Good!
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: We went to
Suriname, to escape the Trinidadians.
01-03-2017 Suriname? What they have there?
01-03-2017 No crime
01-03-2017 Then it's not exciting
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: A beautiful,
rustic community, with many ethnicities and an old world, colonial
architectural charm.
01-03-2017 Yes it's a beautiful place
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: I went amongst
the poorest even hugged a smelly beggar and I didn't feel threatened for a
second. The majority of people are poor yet they feel no compulsion to menace
and harm others.
01-03-2017: How did u smell after hugging a
smelly beggar
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: I didn't think
about it. I wasn't important. I just mention it for the understanding about how
civil people are. I try to practice what they taught us at Mount and view the
call of the poor as the knock of Christ on the door of our hearts.
01-03-2017 I was just kidding u do not have
to explain I do understand
01-03-2017 Amen. Joe. A heart warming
experience. Neil has a one track mind.??
01-03-2017 Azizul also.??
01-03-2017 The people of Suriname are not
poor Joe they are just relax and do not hurry or worry about anything I know
01-03-2017: One track mind going in both
directions
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: Really, It was
lovely. Reminded me of our youth. I want to go to the interior next time - -
having a challenge to convince my wife.
01-03-2017 I will to Suriname with Tim Healy
and visit the black maroon that live Along the river, they are the most
humble
01-03-2017 Joe, we will go together
01-03-2017 and do some fishing meanwhile
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: Would love to
make a lime: if some others are interested. We could get off the plane and go
straight into the bush.
01-03-2017 I am interested but from the
plane to the hotel then casino and the fish market no bush
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: You and others
can stay in town and man the command centre and do the town things.
01-03-2017 Azizul is all talk and no action,
he ain't going no where
01-03-2017 Oh and the strip club
01-03-2017 Berment Joseph: You mean the club
on the strip?
01-03-2017 However u want to word it
06-03-2017 I also hate these chain letters,
it also get my blood boiling
06-03-2017 Berment Joseph: You mean chain up
messages?
06-03-2017?: Hey Neil I have a chain letter
to send u
06-03-2017 Salvador cómo te sientes?
06-03-2017 Ramsahai 99Winston: RIP Farouk
Bhopa
06-03-2017 What, another one? When did he

06-03-2017 Ramsahai Winston: Bhopal 2016
