Thank you, Raphael.
Have you sent Ladislao a story about your progress through life, since your Mount days for his Circular?
Never mind if you make it all up :-)
We all frequently do.
Keep well.
Don

Hello, Neil,
Sure, I have Brian’s email address:  bgcaribajan@live.com
In case that one does not work, his other email is:   bajanwriter99@gmail.com
It is amazing how we lost contact with our friends for 40 or 50 years.
If it were not for Ladislao’s Circulars, I might think I imagined all those years I spent at Mount.
Hopefully, you will contact Gustavo.
The Database maintained by Kazim has no email address for him.
That means that I have not been sending him the Circulars.
He may not even know that you are still around.
Keep well.
Don

Don,
Hope all is well with you and the family.
I was so shocked to see a picture of Gustavo Tar and Brian Goddard. Gustavo was a very close friend of mine while at The Abbey,
He stayed at my house on the free weekends and I visited him in Valencia, Venezuela.
I have not seen him since 1973.
Salvador was also asking about his whereabouts and we thought he was no longer with us.
I will like to know if you have Brian's email so I can get some info about Gustavo.
Thanks and all the best.
Neil

Hi Ladislao,
Here is a high resolution photo.
I do not have a family photo and would prefer not to put it out in cyberspace anyway.
The “boys” of 1960 I have bumped into since Mount days are:
Richard Galt in Toronto and Fort Lauderdale many years ago;
Michael Herrera and Roger Henderson in Trinidad in 1997;
Mac Seheult in Houston in 2014;
Nigel Booz, Christopher Knowles and Geoff Golding in Toronto about 10 years ago.
The only ones I am in regular contact with are my first cousins David and Maurice de V who are in the Toronto area.
Bye for now,
Daniel

To: Trevor's family and friends
Further to my previous email to Jackie (expressing sympathy to all of Trevor's family)
I am attaching three old photographs that were taken 72 years ago, when "The boys from BG" (British Guiana) were at Mount St Benedict School in Tunapuna, Trinidad.
A that time, Trevor was the adult individual (all of 13 years old) amongst the rest of us 9 - 10 year olds.
Even at that early age, Trevor was the supporting influence that enabled the rest of us to enjoy the challenges of being far from home and family.
Fortunately, we were virtually "adopted" by the Farfan family (Mr Ainsley Farfan was a keen racing friend of my father) and Mrs Farfan just included us with her own two sons (John & David - also at MSB) on many outings from School to their home in Cascade and weekends at Maracas ....
Memorable days but, alas, only John Willems (in Guyana), Clive Bettencourt-Gomes (in Spain) - maybe the forgotten boy in the Maracas Bay photo? - Terrence (in Canada, but not well) and myself (in the UK) are still alive.
I have no recent memories of Trevor as we ended up living in different parts of the world but I am sure he will be remembered as a good man, who lived by his own high standards and, above all, as a husband, father and grandfather who cherished his familly first and then his many friends, who admired him and valued his friendship.
"Quietus recedet et in pace"  (Now depart in restful peace)
With sincere condolences to all of Trevor's family,
Brian

30 Jan
It is with heavy hearts and much sadness that we write to you about the passing of Trevor Evelyn.
He passed surrounded by his family on January 27, 2017 at the age of 84.
Loving husband of Jacqueline (Nee Wight) for 60 years.
World’s best dad to his 6 children Donna, Jackie, Paula, David, Simone and Anne.
He will be missed by his 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
You can also leave your condolences, memories and pictures on the online obituary.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to one of Trevor’s preferred charities.
If you feel there is anyone we may have missed, please pass on this information.
Jackie Evelyn

09-02-2017 Alfredo Montiel Bezara:  Welcome Enrique !!
09-02-2017 Ramsahai Winston:  Let's see your faces guys
09-02-2017 Ladislao:  Ok here I am, your humble editor of the circulars
09-02-2017 Enrique:  Welcome onboard......this will be a Great and easy way of connecting with all the boys......I got this started but I will let Salvador take over from here as the administrator for the group as he is more proactive with social media and has kept up with a lot of us...
09-02-2017 Hola Zamuro!!!!
09-02-2017 Moffie Edgar:  Saludos hermano....bienvenido a bordo.....yes Salvador will give a hand on posting details...
09-02-2017 Ramsahai Winston:  Welcome Edgar post some pics of Venezuela crisis
09-02-2017 Moffie Edgar: I'll see what I can get here in Maturin.....or in El Tigre when I get across....
09-02-2017 I prefer to remember Venezuela as it was when I was a kid....much happier times
09-02-2017 Ramsahai Winston: TT is at a crossroad
09-02-2017 Moffie Edgar: Where is Winston Copeland or Copland??...
09-02-2017 Farias Gabriel: Hi guys good to connect
09-02-2017 It is a great pleasure to see all of us communicating again.  Let’s keep it up.
09-02-2017 Fr. Imash: Hi guys thanks for adding me to the group, Ronald Hadeed, 1961 to 1966
09-02-2017 Berment Joseph: Ron! I love it: I didn't realize that you were that good or had such naughty friends. Of course men our age can discuss this subject with great clarity, now that we grown much less attached to "it".
I think that one should need a test of literacy as a prequalification for voting and having sex.
09-02-2017 Saw this just now on tv. Incredible and amazing that our people are still so illiterate. Maybe it was the alcohol. Rum could do that to people i guess.
09-02-2017 Berment Joseph: From my experience I don't believe that it's anything other than illiteracy. The sooner we deal with reality the safer we will be and the easier it will be to get competent people - - education, scouting and  training !
09-02-2017 Ok joe. I was kidding about the rum. I agree with you.
09-02-2017 Berment Joseph: I knew that you were but the boys living overseas probably didn't think so: I guess that it is very similar in Venezuela?
09-02-2017 Hello guys . It has been a long time since we met. It was a great idea Enrique came up with. It just happened this afternoon at work . To be able to get us together again thru Whatsapp
10-02-2017 Moffie Edgar: Guys Venezuela is not thar far with the education......look at this (I sell eggs--- vendo huevo).... today' s spelling (BENDO GUEBO)))..... just try and correct them.....they'll kill you for that.....
10-02-2017 Berment Joseph: It's the illiterates who become political fanatics. The greedy are not really committed to anything other than their own benefit. These two kinds are 90% of political party support.
